Membership of Gore Town & Country Club

Becoming a member of Gore Town & Country Club is easy. Just complete the application form and return to the club. Download a Nomination for Membership form here.

First year fees:

  • $40.00 per person
  • $60.00 per couple

Renewal fees (due end of March each year):

  • $30.00 for men
  • $24.00 for women

Half price for Senior Citizens

What does membership get you?

Membership at the Gore Town & Country Club gains you admission to our members’ only club facilities, you are welcome to join one of our Sections, and to participate in a range of club events and activities.

Gore Town & Country Club is a member of Clubs NZ and welcomes members from affiliated clubs.

Members’ facilities and services:

  • Comfortable and spacious bar, with SKY Sport on the big screen TVs
  • Well-equipped pool and snooker room, with four snooker tables and six pool tables
  • Courtesy coach (Wed through Sun)
  • Children’s play area and changing facilities
  • WiFi
  • TAB and gaming lounge, with 18 gaming machines
  • Bottle store open from 11:00am to 11:00pm
  • Regular member raffles and prize draws
  • Club Sections for sporting and social activities

Funding and Grant Applications

Gore Town & Country Club is proud to provide support to local charities and not for profit organisations through our Grant Application process.

We may provide funding for specific purchases related to sporting, cultural, and educational activities.

Please note that decisions about grant funding are made four times through the year, at the end of each quarter.

Gore Town and Country Club Inc. Bursaries

The Gore Town and Country Club offers Two Bursaries for approved full time tertiary study each year to students who are attending tertiary education.

Each Bursary will be valued at $1,500 a year for up to three years, a maximum bursary value of $4,500. Bursaries will be awarded at the discretion of The Gore Town and Country Club bursary sub-committee. Continuation of the Bursary beyond the first year is at the discretion of the bursary sub-committee.
